There will be three make-up sessions for after school activities this week. Tomorrow, there is a make-up session of Flag Football and Tennis. On Thursday, there will be a make-up session for Ultimate Frisbee. If there is another weather cancellation this week, the classes will not be made up.
The Whitman Boys Varsity Basketball team will have its season opener tonight at Landon at 6 pm. JV plays at 4:15. Come out and support the Vikes!
The Pyle SGA Canned Food Drive is in progress. Please remember to bring your canned goods or non-perishable items to your TAG class. Each grade level team is competing against the other grade-level teams. Get those goods in!!!
This Friday is Pyle Community Night at the Whitman Boys Varsity Basketball game vs. Gaithersburg. The 7th and 8th grade boys’ basketball team will be in attendance, and the national anthem will be sung by the Pyle Chamber Ensemble. The game starts at 7:15 pm. We hope to see you there!
Hello All-Stars! Get pumped up for your Ping-Pong-a-thon!! The Ping-Pong-A-Thon for the All-Stars will be this Thursday during interact and Tag.
What is a Ping-Pong-a-thon? It's a festive time for staff and students from one team to play ping pong. There's music, a theme, and fun to be had! You'll hear more information tomorrow from your TAG teachers. Rockstars and Superstars: your Ping-Pong-A-Thon will be coming later. Stay tuned for announcements.
A huge congratulations to the following students for having art work on display at the Visual Arts Center Gallery at Albert Einstein High School:
Daniella Macaya, Diana Kentell, Samantha Levine, Willo Sheldon, Ella Yankowski, Leah Hoeppner, Sydney Spottiswood, Taylor Beers, Teresa Reis, Emma Schmiedigen.
There were 202 pieces of artwork and only 35 pieces were given an award. Out of the 22 middle schools that participated, Pyle received 3 awards. Sydney Spottiswood received an honorable mention award for the Figure & Portraiture Category. Ella Yankowski received a 3rd place award for the Still Life Category.
Diana Kentell received a 2nd place award for the Mixed Media Category. Congrats again to all students!
