The Pyle Middle School Art Exhibit is on display at Montgomery Mall near Macy’s until Sunday. Please take a trip to visit the display and see the exceptional artwork from our student artists here at Pyle. You can visit the display during normal mall hours. The month of June is LGBT Pride month. Known for her role as Sophia Burset on the fan favorite Orange is the New Black, Laverne Cox is the first transgender woman of color to have a leading role on a mainstream scripted TV show. She’s also an amazing activist, speaking and writing on transgender equality and gender identity issues.
This Day in History: On this day in 1934, the Cincinnati Reds became the first Major League team to use an airplane to travel from one city to another. They flew from Cincinnati to Chicago.
