Pyle is looking for student volunteers to work in the main office this summer. Students will receive SSL hours for helping to answer phones, greet visitors, and other responsibilities and projects. Applications are available in the main office and due tomorrow.
That’s right, it’s that time of year again!! Spring student service learning DEADLINE is Friday June 1st! As Mr. Schmidt will be out of the building Thursday and Friday this week, the Spring Student Service Learning DEADLINE will be extended to Wednesday June 6th. The revised DEADLINE for spring student service learning hours is Wednesday June 6th.
All library books are due this Friday! There are still 448 books overdue already and by Friday, there will be close to 300 more. Please turn in your books as soon as possible so that you can be sure to participate in any end of the year activities. So check under your bed, in your closet, on the floor of your mom’s car and find those books!
Women’s chorus is having an open house performance tomorrow during TAG. You will need an invitation in order to attend. There are a limited number of passes being distributed for this event. Please see Mr. Tilkens in room 123.
Attention all dancers: There will be a Jazz Dance Master Class after school tomorrow. Students should have at least one year of jazz dance training or have participated in the cast of a Pyle musical in order to participate in the class. Please visit the Counseling Services office to sign up for class. The deadline to sign up is today.
Every child deserves a FUN summer! Kindworks is looking for donations of new and gently used items for low income kids in Montgomery County. Any summer fun items such as balls, chalk, hula hoops, art supplies, sunscreen and games can be placed in the front entrance box at Pyle. The collection will end tomorrow.

On June 5th, Pyle will be participating in the annual Drive for Supplies during TAG. Place all used (but still usable) school supplies in the Drive for Supplies boxes located in the hallways. These supplies will be distributed to students in need. If your items are not reusable but recyclable, please place them in the school’s recycling bins. If you are looking for something to do this July or need student service hours, volunteer to help pack and distribute the donated school supplies. See our Drive for Supplies coordinator, Mr. Enderle.
