[pylenet] Pyle MS Announcements 11/15

 

7th/8th grade chorus students will meet for a TAG rehearsal this Friday, November 18th. No paper tag passes will be issued. Chorus students in 7th and 8th grade should notify their teachers to check private for a list of students before Friday. Thanks for your flexibility.

Just a reminder: There is a Spirit Squad meeting today at TAG with Mrs. Best.

 

Basketball tryouts for 7th grade boys are today.  Tryouts for 8th grade boys are tomorrow. Girls’ tryouts start on Nov. 28 for the 7th graders and November 29th for 8th grade girls.  Remember you must submit all required paperwork in order to tryout.  All paperwork can be found on the Pyle website as well as the bulletin board outside of the boys PE office.  Be sure you have an up-to- date physical, dated within the last 2 years, turned in to Mr. Caswell or submitted on the first day of tryouts.  If you have any questions please see (or email) Mr. Caswell.

 

Breathe, relax, and smile. The Counseling Office invites you to join us for yoga during TAG on Thursday.  Everyone is welcome. Sign up today or tomorrow in the counseling office.   

Did you know Bolivia has the world’s largest butterfly sanctuary and Peru has the world’s highest sand dune? You can come learn more about Bolivia and Peru at this week’s Culture Lunch. The Culture lunch will be held this Friday during lunch. Please sign up in the cafeteria tomorrow or on Thursday. Space is limited.

 

Yesterday for Maker Monday, the media center issued a tower building challenge. Congratulations to 6th grader Isabel Sachs, who won the competition with a tower just under 38 inches tall. Congratulations Isabel!
