Topic - Navigating Edline and Google Classroom: Helpful Tips for Parents
Featured Speakers: Resource Counselor Erika Huck, Math Resource Teacher Andra Metz, and Media Specialist Beth Knafelc
Time & Date: 10-11am, Thursday, November 17
Place: Pyle Media Center
Both Edline and Google Classroom are online tools designed to facilitate learning, simplify communication, and enhance collaboration in the classroom. However, this round-the-clock digital accessibility to schoolwork and grades can be both a convenience and a stressor. At this week's CAC meeting, we'll discuss:
- how educational tools are used by teachers at Pyle
- how Pyle students access and use these educational tools
- what parents can do to foster a healthy relationship between your middle-schooler and these learning tools
- the MCPS new quarterly assessments (RQAs)
Notes from the meeting will be taken and posted online for those parents unable to attend.
